This actuator is suitable for all mesh dishes, and works particularly well with our 2.3 Metre mesh dish.

An actuator is used to move the satellite dish so that you can view channels from different satellites.

This actuator is plugged into a positioner box which memorises all the different satellite positions.

The way it works is the the motor at the base of the unit pushes and pulls the eye at the top. The base of the unit is connected to a solid bracket, and the eye is connected to the dish.

As the pole moves in and out, the dish moves left and right, as it's mounted on a sliding bracket to allow it to travel freely.

The actuator has sensors in it that allow precise movement of the dish, and this precise movement is controlled by the positioner box.

Connecting an actuator to your dish allows you to move it automatically by remote control from your loungeroom, which is very convenient when it's 1AM and pouring rain!
